The court has stayed the release of Ravi Sharma's Sri Raghupati, which is scheduled to be released in Assamese theaters
The Kamrup Metropolitan District and Sessions Judge's Court released the film on Thursday.
The film's director was accused of breaching his contract with former producer Shailen Makuma Sharma.
Dhritiman Sharma, son of former producer Shailen Kumar Sharma, filed a case in the lower court.
The court heard the case today and stayed the release of the film.
The film is a big-budget Assamese film starring Ravi Sharma, Preity Zinta, Primary Pallavi, Siddharth Sharma, and Arun Nath.
